Thermafiber® Mineral Wool Insulation

Thermafiber® Mineral Wool Insulation has its start in rock and blast furnace slag, raw materials found in the steel industry. The slag is then melted and spun into fibers for a variety of insulation products.

Key Benefits

Thermafiber Insulation Types & Uses

Designed to efficiently drain water from a wall cavity system while providing an energy-saving R value of 4.3 per inch of thickness. The semi-rigid composition of this insulation allows it to conform to irregular spaces, which ensures a more continuous thermal barrier. These products are also UV resistant.
