CEILING TILES FOR HEALTHCARE

Rockfon acoustical tiles are made of stone wool, a whipped basalt that naturally provides no sustenance to microorganisms, so they are Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) resistant. Rockfon also has low particle emission (ISO Class 5, ISO14644-1) for better air cleanliness. These lines of medical acoustical ceilings offer healthy choices for public areas, consulting areas, and even surgical suites and cleanrooms.
Rockfon has well-known acoustical benefits, but they also offer exceptional fire and humidity resistance because they’re made of stone wool. In addition, all tiles in the Rockfon Medical range look great, stand up to medical cleaning procedures, and are MRSA resistant.
Rockfon® MedicalTM Standard is made to meet the needs of areas with essential hygiene and cleaning requirements, such as wards, administration, waiting areas, and nursing offices. It is classified as Bacteriological Class B5 and B10.
As hygiene and disinfection requirements increase, Rockfon® MedicalTM Plus (Bacteriological Class B1) meets the needs of emergency rooms, delivery rooms, small surgery, radiology, laboratories, and corridors.
In sealed environments where air pressure is controlled, Rockfon® MedicalTM Plus (Bacteriological Class B1 and B5) features an air-tight backing membrane and sealed edges suitable for high-risk areas, such as operating rooms, recovery rooms, cleanrooms, and intensive care.
